What a Month!!!

I have been so busy the last few weeks!  It's amazing how exhausting the first couple weeks back to school after a vacation can be.  There has been SO much going on.  Here's a peek into the last few weeks!

New Years started off very interesting.  I was in quarantine at my house because I was radioactive…yes…RADIOACTIVE!  Lol.  I had my thyroid nuked.  I have battled thyroid disease for a long time and I am happy it's finally over.  :)

A few days after I was done with they whole thyroid debacle, my grammy turned 90 years old!!!!  We celebrated by having a girls night at Cheesecake Factory!  It was delicious!!!  I think she enjoyed herself and she learned about taking selfless!  Heehee.  Her party came later in the week!

A couple days after our girls night, my best friend from college came into town for my grammy's big party.  We had a great time hanging out and my students were happy to have her come visit the classroom again.

Last Saturday was my grammy's 90th party!  Oh what fun that was!!!!  Dinner, cake, dancing, and TONS of family and friends.  Nearly 100 people!  It was nice to have some of my girlfriends there too!!

Over the last few weeks, I have also been working a LOT on my TpT products.  I have done 2 major projects and gotten them up in my store.  This is a big thing for me because I get creators block whenever I sit down to work on something.  This time, I was able to complete the ideas I had and so far they are getting good reviews.

The first of my products is a Mini-Planet Report!  This was something I created 10 years ago and finally sat down and revamped!  I made it longer and more detailed.  I was SO excited about it, that I began working on other projects too.

The other project that I worked on was my Native American Project!  This was SO much fun to do!  My students completed this in class and parents gave me great feedback!  They were grateful for an organized packet and said it really helped their kids understand note taking.  The overall project turned out great because students were able to organized paragraphs based off the note outline.  It was great!

Needless to say, the last few weeks have been INSANE!!!!!  I can't wait to share some other great things that are in the works!!!

Happy Saturday!
